Unit received diesel fuel contaminated with 19% gasoline (2,300 gal of gas/12240 gal diesel). Unit was driven approximately 50 miles and died. Fuel was drained, filters changed, fuel pump replaced by owner. Unit would not start, likely due to stopped up fuel injectors. Oil sample revealed diesel fuel in the engine oil and the presence of metal particles consistent with pistons, rings and liner material. No further diagnostics performed. Extent of engine damage unknown.
