The driver struck an unidentified object on the highway, causing severe damage to the underside of the trailer. The object became lodged near the wheel area, tearing lines and components. Shortly after the driver pulled over to the shoulder, a fire ignited at the rear section of the trailer. The driver quickly disconnected the tractor to prevent further damage. The fire was contained to the trailer, resulting in destruction of the rear portion.
