2024 Kubota KX033-4R1 Excavator, S/N: KBCCZ48CLR3J20575, Hours 771. Unit's right side including engine was submerged in 10 feet of water. Additional damage occurred during recovery. Estimate includes boom, swivel joint, and arm assembly; however, it is unclear if these parts are damaged. Includes damaged thumb; no bucket. Machine was running when it went into the mud and water. Water entered the engine, exhaust, and electrical harness. The thumb and quick hitch got twisted during recovery. Debris and sediment visible in engine compartment, air filter assembly, and bottom of engine compartment. Water line visible on hood. Electrical malfunction on control panel. Corrosion accumulation in exhaust system. Damaged hydraulic lines and bracket. Structural bending of thumb assembly. Structural damage to quick coupler. Possible damage to swivel joint area. Oil level overfull by around 1 gallon, indicating water intrusion.
